Found what looks like a genuine one for sale now, not pre-order.(although the sellers lack of feedback is worrying)

It could be genuine, but way out there theres no comeback if they don't send the item, you gonna take a plane to go retrieve it ? lol.... I think the phone looks shabby too - I dont care much for flip-phones...

Asks for payment by Western Union. Mmmmm. That will be impossible to recover. There was a big scam on eBay recently with digital camcorders. Basically, someone was selling them at about 1/2 price. Loads of people bought them using Western Union money transfer. Guess what? He dissapeared. Western Union is the same as cash. Avoid at all costs! LOL

And thirdly all the pictures are fake, taken from other websites and covered their watermarks with his own pink rectangle. Zero feedback plus the reasons listed above - makes this a very big fake.

Still can't wait for the MPx200!!! Yummy.

Why bother with this phone guys. I understand its a sexy little clamshell no doubts about that - but your effectivly buying an older OS now that WM2k3 is out. What are the chances of that "firmware" is it, being added on in the future ?

Cheers

I thought I saw a news story on CNN that Ebay was cracking down on fake items.

There should be a way to authenticate an item.

No it's not :?
Credit card fraud can still sting you when payments are concerned with Paypal.
Just make sure you have the money transfered to your bank etc before
sending goods. Also avoid sellers in Indonesia as most of the fraud seems
to be from there at the moment. :?
