Another thing that we are not sure is whether this phone will be locked (like the SPV) or unlocked by Verizon.
Apparently MSFT seem to say that new Smartphones lauched in the US will be unlocked, while they will be locked in europe. I have the feeling that they (the carriers) don't know what is the best model (private users prefer unlocked to install games, carriers and corporate users prefer locked for higher security). So it feels like they are experimenting to see what works best... |
