 White screen when switching phone on

Hi,
after breaking my orbit screen I changed it using the posts from the forum (thanks), but now when I turn on the phone all I get is a white screen, and no boot up. Active sync still works and so I installed wm6 but no difference all I get is a white screen. I have tried hard / soft resets and now out of ideas, any help greatly recieved.

Hi all,
Well I've solved the problem my replacement screen was faulty. I bought another, fitted it and bobs your auntie.
