Yep. Got mine Tuesday and can confirm it is 16GB version and there is no Orange branding. I have not tried another SIM in it but have read on here that it is also unlocked to any network.

Got mine on a free upgrade on Dolphin 35.

I am so happy with this phone. biggrin.gif

Very clever, Orange. For all the injury, despair, darkness, sorrow I bear orange after a year of eternal CS waiting time, overcharges and unsatisfaction, I can't but stay with Orange for the 16GB Omnia we hold so dear. Darn you Orange!

Got the Omnia on Panther 45.
For those of you who got it on a tariff lower than panther 45, does Orange offer you any internet/data?
The prime reason i got Panther45 is coz 250mb anytime internet is offered for free...

I got the Omnia today from a Orange Store, and it is indeed the 16GB version.

I got the £30 price plan + £4 Unlimited Data  (Etc etc Fair Useage applys  250MB)

At least i know that if i go over it i'll be informed and wont have to pay any extra....

Also sprang for the Insurance too as they offered it with 15% off the price plan.  (so instead of paying £6 pm i pay about a £1.50)

So far it looks great, no additional Bloatware installed by Orange.

Hi,

On the £30 tarrif i paid £200 for the phone (alittle more expensive then the ones here or expansys) but it works about the same when you factor in the months

THe £35 tarrif was £99 i belive

The £40 tariff was £40 for the phone

And any tarrif £45 + is free 16GB phone + unlimited data

If you do decide to go for Orange get the insurance too (£6 per month) and they'll take 10% to 15% off your monthly tarrifs  (so it could be anywhere between £3 to £1.50 for the insurance)  which appart from acc damage & theft etc they'll give you better customer service and replace the phone within 24-48 hours.

So far very impressed with it...  (and i'd definatly recomend the FT_TouchSL for kinetic scrolling outside samsungs userinterface trial or full, i could not recomend this enough.... it takes a Very good phone into a Excellent phone)

And in direct sunlight/angled you can see all the fingerprint smudges, which unfortunatly is inevitable on a Touch screen,  so i went and ordered one of these

Martin Fields Screen protector

If you take your contract for 2 years they take £5 off,
So Panter 45, gives you free phone, £40 tariff (1200 mins, 500 txts, 250mb data)

I'd like to know how you get on with the screen protector.
Currently looking for a decent case for it atm

Yea i was sorely tempted by the SEX and Touch Pro,  but the samsung has a better phone  And for me Personally it just looks so much better  Plus the 16GB beats the Mederoka 4GB Touch, and pant 400MB SEX1  (and it only has a microsd slot and not a SHDC one either)

Why didn't you go for the £35/month then? It would have saved you £101 now and cost you an extra £90 over the course of the contract and presumably you would have had more mins / texts.

Just checked - the Omnia is £99.99 on Dolphin 35 which you can get online for £30/month

I've just got back from Holiday and phoned Orange to get my upgrade! I laid down the bottom line which was "I need the unlimited data package" and he explained that the package had been pulled. I told him it was make or break, and then he started telling me that it wasn't gone forever, just archived... which meant he did have access after all. Long story short, Free Omnia 16gb, 750min, unlimited texts, unlimited data, £30 a month!

Now I'm just waiting for it to arrive and then I'll probably brick it when I flash to the newest rom!

It depends what band of customer you are. Basically, if you waste a whole lot of money with Orange they will give you free stuff to say thankyou.
