 T-Mo Dash - WMP busted?, could use some help

Nevermind. I did a complete factory reset of the device and reinstalled my apps one by one. It turns out, the Skype Beta for Smartphone mucked with my homescreen and WMP skins. So beware of the Skype Beta program on this device!!!

I just got a T-Mobile Dash. When I start WMP, it shows a screen that says "Skin Options". The "Default(Landscape)" option is at the top, however the screen is completely white (e.g. not showing a preview). I can't select anything. If I go to the Library and try to play a song, it bumps me back to the Skin Options screen.

GAH!

I have tried downloading WMP skins, putting them in the WMP directory and trying to load them. The preview skin for them is also "blank" e.g. white. When I try to play a song, it bumps me back to the Skin Options screen.

Ideas? I'm crushed.
