 Rom Upgrade WWE HTC Herald

Hi folks,

bought a lovely HTC Herald in Spain with spanish OS and tried to change to WWE ROM Version. I downloaded the RUU_Herald_HTC_WWE_1.8.405.1_02.71.90_Ship.exe in order to change to english version.

Unfortunately I get the message "INVALID VENDOR ID" and have to abort after 2% progress. The device reboots with the original OS.

Any suggestions to bypass the Vendor ID-Check? Thnx in advance.....

you will need to have the device CID unlocked to install another ROM
