 Spv C550 Charging and Batterys, Charging?

Why does my new c550 not charge the battery. i have drained the battery complety to the point the phone would not power up, and when the charger is plugged in it goes green, and does not charge.

Phone has just shut down as battery is low, plugged in charger while the phone was of and guess what. went from Orange to Green in a few seconds. Must be a fault with the phone. Anyone have any ideas? Im pulling my hair out.......

Never try to fully discharge a Li-ion battery as you can damage it.
From what you are saying it does sound like you have a faulty battery and should contact Orange and arrange a replacement.
