 SPV C550 To SDA II

Hi

I've tried to change my SPV C550 to Qtek 8200 but i get a error message 'Invalid Vendor ID'. If I put the SDA II ROM on the SPV C550 would it change to a SDA II and then would i be able to put the Qtek 8200 ROM on the phone?
