Device(s): Blackjack II

I'm running Bluesoleil 6 for my bluetooth program with a working dongle. I am able to send and receive files but unable to sync my blackjack with microsoft activesync via bluetooth. When i click (On Computer) File >Connection Settings >Connect >Next; and activesync attempts to find my phone via COM 1-4, IR, and usb the program will say that my device is not detected.(!devicenotfound.jpg!) But when i browse my bluetooth devices on my PDA i can look at the services (!sshot001.jpg!) and it shows that i can connect to a serial port. As i browse i can click (On Blackjack) Menu >Refresh and then attempt to connect my phone through the "get connected" (Using ActiveSync) wizard the wizard and my phone will connect to COM 3 (!conntocom3.jpg!) (also the COM 3 Port on my blackjack will change from "Serial Port" in sshot001.jpg to "ActiveSync" in conntocom3.jpg) and it will then disconnect after the services are refreshed and when i go to my IVT BlueSoleil software it shows that i don't have the ability to connect my phone to any COM port. (!ivt.jpg!).

So how would i get my phone to sync with activesync using BlueSoeil 6 and a COM port??

i got my BJII to work with my laptop thru Bluetooth.... a little trial and error (and like 10 hours due to the need to reinstall vista)

here:
running Vista x64 Home Premium, built in Bluetooth + 2.0 EDR, using Windows Mobile Device Center (no activesync on Vista...)

trials:
tried connecting via bluetooth, phone bluetooth settings after first pairing shows 'activesync' as one of the features, but activesync on phone (Connect via Bluetooth) cannot create pairing

how i made it work:
first make a sync connection... using a CABLE...... create a profile (i dont remember exactly how activesync works, but in WMDC, u create a profile) and set what stuff to sync..... after everything is synched, remove cable... in my CONNECTION SETTINGS in WMDC, theres a check box for 'allow connections via bluetooth'... see if theres something similar in activesync

on phone and laptop, enable bluetooth and visibility..... on laptop, find phone and pair.... on phone, continue on all teh prompts til the SERVICES prompt... u should see 'activesync' as one of the options

then go to activesync on phone and 'connect via bluetooth'
