ok so we all know that the gold/brown color scheme on the t-mobile shadow is nasty, and since ive spent 4 days trying to figure out how to do this i figured i'd make it easier for other people searching for how to do this.

Step 1. read this post by kwoodall it requires alittle bit of time (basically looking for the files) change the hue/saturation in photoshop to whichever color you like and reinstall using Activesync

after you have done step 1 youll notice the bottom part of the homescreen is still the gold/brown or whatever factory color it is

Step 2. Download basehueexpress and install it (by install i mean drag and drop using activesync to somewhere you know you can find it, anywhere will do) run it using file explorer in your start menu, choose your color and bam there ya go, and if you notice at first it just shows the color table, if youd like grey or black press menu while basehueexpress is open and youll see "Use Greyscale" and apply and youre done

thanks for reading i hope i helped and didnt make anyone mad for posting smile.gif

How did you manage to overwrite the files in the /Windows folder? I haven't been able to, because they are marked "read only," and I can't remove it.

The easist way to get the new files installed with no errors is to create a cab file with them in it. Then install the cab and it'll ask you to reboot. When you reboot all of your new files will be in place.

Where can I find a tutorial on how to create a cab file? I googled it, but all I didn't really find anything very helpful..
