Im interested in getting sum Stereo Bluetooth head-phones for my Atom Life / WM 6.0 Pro.
What Bluetooth profiles will it support like is it A2DP and or AVRCP? Will it do stereo head phones also. I have looked in the User Manual but I cant fined what the standard of Bluetooth the phone supports. ![]() I see there is lots of Stereo Bluetooth Head-phones on ebay now, starting from $19 to $145(us). Can any one who is using sum list what brand and model # they are using and how they preform. Im interested in something with nice bass response, behind the head and prefer not to be the ear bud type. JOCOPO ![]() The linx are sum I have seen on ebay. http://cgi.ebay.com/Insignia-Bluetoo...ayphotohosting http://cgi.ebay.com/Nokia-Blue-tooth...QQcmdZViewItem http://cgi.ebay.com/S9-BLUETOOTH-STE...QQcmdZViewItem |

They came today , I had sum doubt that the might not work from what I was told by one phone place that the Atom Life has the older 1.2 Bluetooth and not 2.0 witch supported stereo even MWG specs show it as 1.2 so I figured if it did not work I would use the with my Notebook. Well they came in good shape, I charged the turned them on the phone recognized the with no problem, I paired them, started the MP3 player and they worked perfectly. The stereo separation sounds good, the bass is good not earth shaking but adequate, the volume is not the loudest I have heard but loud enough for most peoples taste, they fit good on my head they are behind the neck so I can still use a cap, the fit is secure so they stay put for active use, the phone call function work good, also loud enough to hear and be herd. The only knock I have so far is that the mode switch also factions as the on/off switch. I would have preferred a separate swatch for that, you have to toggle thru a few function to turn the headphones off. The range is decent I can walk around the house and they still work, the feel of the unit is solid, they don’t feel cheaply made. I am very pleased with them especially for the price. The freedom of not having a cord is grate I hated the cord so much that would not use the phone or any MP3 player for music, but now I have a 2g card that hold tuns of tunes who need a PMP when you got this setup. I would give the Insignia Bluetooth Headphones a 4 out of 5 rating. JOCOPO |

Good review.
This morning it came to my mind that I could do with a pair of bluetooth headphones that were OK for active use too. And since the Atom Life is next to me most of the time, the range sounds good on the headphones you bought. I dropped my Atom Life and now the 2.5mm jack is only outputting one channel. Bluetooth should be my only solution. But if I can use this on future devices, even better for that price. Just to up date I have had no problems with the BT headphones at all, I use them on my night job and have run them for 5hr at a time and have yet to have the battery run out (when started with a ful charge). I to have a short in my 2.5 jack, before I got my BT headphones I was using a adapter with sum other headphones and the jack must have got bent from moving a lot and a short developed just like yours did. It’s not a big deal since I have the BT headphones and I don’t use the FM radio much. JOCOPO |
