 Which ROM, Just bought a Qtec 8500

Hi,

Just got a phone from Expansys, and realise from discussion on this forum that the current ROM is faulty.

What ROM should I download from the others available that will allow me to have a fully working phone?

Test the rom which comes with. If you have problems when people call you (the phone wont ring) then install the dopod rom. If you arent having that problem there is no reason to change rom (as it will void you warranty).

If you're in the UK as your name suggests, then you've nothing to worry about. The missed call problem is restricted to the 850MHz band (e.g. USA). If you do travel to the USA, there is a workaround without changing ROMs (see other "missed call" threads).
