 8500 standard USB cable works as a car charger

Just tried my standard sync cable that came in the box with a USB cigarette lighter adaptor and it charges the handset fine with none of this 'shorting pin 4 and 5' malarky needed unlike typhoon etc. Useful. I knew all those extra pins in the new style connector did something :-)
