 C600 power button broken, .....can i boot it any other way?

Help. I use my C600 as my work phone instead of my hideous nokia that work supplied.

Only the power button has now stopped working and even the intervention of a metal nailfile won't make the bugger start!

Is there anyway to make it boot without using the on/off button?

Not that I am aware of, may be an expensive fix but have you tried contacting HTC about a possible repair?

Got a repalcement from ebay.

Flashed it.

Working perfectly for a month or two.

Just dropped it.

Same issue !

FFS.

Can you re-assign another key to the power ?
