Here's my personal list of must have FREE software for the Vox... all IMHO, YMMV etc. etc. biggrin.gif

This thread will be updated as I add stuff, and feel free to suggest additions yourself!

biggrin.gif

P

ClockOnTop - top bar digital clock

Inbox Extender - add 'Delete All' and 'Mark All as Read' options to your inboxes.

MoDaCo CardCache - move your Pocket IE Cookies / History / Cache to Storage Card. You can delete '\Windows\Profiles' after installing and rebooting.

MoDaCo DoNew - adds functionality to create new Word and Excel documents!

MoDaCo Google Search - changes Windows Live search in PIE and Windows Live to Google.

MoDaCo S710 de-Brander - Don't like the green everywhere? de-Brand your S710!

Palringo - Palringo, text, push to talk and image chat for your device. Install and join the 'MoDaCo' group!

PhoneSharpMT - Got a blog that supports an XML-RPC API (most do!)? Use your lovely keyboard to post to it with this application!

SKTools Lite - useful tools for cleaning registry, notification queue etc. Has additional options for freeing RAM quickly.

SKTSync - sync your device with a time server. Useful to install after you've just hard reset the device

Vito CopyPaste - adds cut and paste functionality. To install, copy EXE to device and run. To use, press and hold action key!

Windows Live Search - Windows Live Maps and local search for your device.

I had the same problem with the japanese letters smile.gif

Some searching on Google gave me this link: http://rapidshare.com/files/26078003/ClockOnTop.rar.html (Click 'FREE' button)
I found it there.
Hope this helps.

Rhinstone, could you do me a favour, (if you haven't changed the default power settings) could you leave your phone unlocked and see if the screen switches off after the allotted minute. I'm trying to see if it was LiveSearch, SMart2Go, or Resco software that keep my display from switching off when it was not locked.

Griff_FFOC (Focus Owner?),

The screen does indeed switch off after 1 minute. Im not running SMart2Go or any Resco software. only other software I have is PHM Regedit. Was not sure if you wanted me to test this with LiveSearch running or turned off? It turns off either way.

Hope this helped you out. smile.gif

Thanks. Yes, after just installing some software one of them altered the display settings so the screen would not turn off after 1 min. Now I know it's not LiveSearch.
