Did anybody found some good looking dialer to replace standard WM cprog ?
the best sollution for me is to have all in one utility : - dialler with T9 search - call log - contacts all those with nice looking skin. till now i have found - Minimal Dialer [ not work for WQVGA ] pros: - replace default dialer [ cprog.exe ] - good looking skin cons - do not support 240x400 - only dialer call log/contacts still from WM iContact (supbro) pros: - all in one [ call log/dialer/contacts/fav ] - good looking skin cons: - do not replace cprog.exe - T9 contact search is missing in latest version 0.81 iContact (burt) pros: - allmost in one [ /fav/call log/contacts ] dialer is missing - good looking skin - T9 search cons: - do not replace cprog.exe - dialer missing Is there any good dialer which support WQVGA or maybe know how to replace cprog.exe with other program ? |

Did anybody found some good looking dialer to replace standard WM cprog ? ...... Is there any good dialer which support WQVGA or maybe know how to replace cprog.exe with other program ? To be honest, the omnia dialler is one of the best I have used on Wimo. Apart from being skinnable - it is clear, easy to use, has speed dialling, smart dialling. The only other option I can think of for you is PocketCM, but it doesn't replace cprog.exe. |

Yes, the included dialler is the best I have used so far
Wish it was skinnable PLUS if it had full screen incoming instead of that not very informative little caller popup at the bottom which is hard to read and contains minimal info. Compared to the rest of the contact app which is large and easy to use, that incoming part is just the opposite. If they could implement the caller function in PocketX Photo Contacts Pro (which isnt quite compatible with the Omnia), then it would be a great contact app. |

- Minimal Dialer [ not work for WQVGA ] pros: - replace default dialer [ cprog.exe ] Is there any good dialer which support WQVGA or maybe know how to replace cprog.exe with other program ? i'm not sure but i don't think this is true, it is nearly impossible to replace the cprog.exe as a third-party software maker. the dependencies of this file go very very deep and you can't just replace it. or can someone tell me wrong? i don't really love the default dialer, because of the little call history/contactlist lines, because it is a bit slow and because it doesn't seem to remember settings made in the menu (for example to only display call history/contactlist in the lines and not both at the same time) BUT it is just not replacable and because of that it is the best we have you can ofcourse install other dialers like you mention above, but you can't bind them to the hardware call button and make them the default dialer all through the device... if i could remove those lines in the default dialer i would be a happy man.. this also prevents you from making unwanted calls when you press the hardware call button two times accidently... |

Yea the S2U caller id looks good and if you have S2V the pics look beautiful. The only thing that I would want to do is skin the current dialer, call log and dialer because its so ugly This post has been edited by Jokes On You: Nov 18 2008, 00:10 -------------------- Samsung Omnia i900DXHJ1(Want a custom rom just to afraid to flash it)

I am using the DXTJ9 M2D03 and the dialer is fantastic |
