Hello,
This is my first post to this forum! Thanks for letting me join! great forum!...

I have an i900 Omnia.

Don't know if you have heard of this system but I have a Alfa Romeo 159. Built into the car is a system that has been designed to Fiat in partnership with Microsoft. The system runs Windows Mobile for Automotive.
The system provides Ipod/Mass Storage Device support to play MP3's ; Wav's and WMA's ; Speech Recognition ; Bluetooth Connectivity for Handsfree Calling ; SMS Reader (Notification of New Messages and can read them out to you whilst driving)

The system is brilliant especially as its a standard feature on the car.. however SMS Reader doesnt work for me!

It is the SMS Reader which I am finding annoying because I can't find a phone that works with it... This is where you come in for advice.

The confusion is if both devices (Blue&Me and Omnia) are running Windows Mobile as the core, why doesn't the SMS Reader work.. so I'm thinking I might need to change something on my phone or install a client of some description...

Has anyone got any experience of this?

HELP PLEASE!! Thank You

Have you tried it with jetware?

http://www.jetwaremobile.com/

In the feature list, it specifically mentions:

# Read message headings from ActiveSync, SMS, or other mail provider

Worth a shot with the 30 day free trial?
