Number of downloads: 28This is rather interesting. I updated my MSI Wind to 10.5.5 yesterday. No problem. I opened the "About this Mac"/System profiler after the update. And here comes the interesting part. Suddenly the Atom-processor were recognized. In the 10.5.4 system profiler it was simply recognized as an unknown 1.6 GHz processor. Now, all of a sudden, it even has the component name and number listed. I would say its probably not to far fetched that we will see a Atom-based Apple product within the next month. My wild and far-fetched guesses are: 1. A Atom-based really thin clone between Apple-TV and Mac Mini. Probably with NAS-acess or Access to TimeCapsule. Could this be the "Brick"? 2. A MacBook Air Mini? Why not? A 10" VERY, VERY thin Netbook. This is my wild guess. Anyone for? |

That is a bit of a wild guess, but could be possible. Atoms are nice processors!

And after I reinstalled the system and did the update once more, the detailed processor info now is gone. VERY strange! /Klaus |
