Hopefully someone will sticky this or add to it the right stuff for everyone to quickly scan over and see what exactly they have on their phone.

I opened my phone version up, i went to the main menu on my phone, clicked that. and then clicked settings, and then clicked system. looked for a symbol that said - version. clicked that and this is what it read;

version,

PDA :i900DXHG3/DXHG3
PHONE :i900DXHG3

--------------------------------

What does this mean and also i'm in USA and use At&t for my carrier. currently my phone is working great....

what can anyone tell me about what / where my phone is at based on those settings; like 1,2,3,4,5,6... etc.
where exactly is my phone at based on current upgrades if any available or what / why the new ones are needed or liked or will even work.
there that should just about cover it for people. Myself, i have no clue as to where my phone is at now as far as current upgrades or how to get them installed if they're needed or work better. maybe this thread can help others determine whats best or needed based on location or use. thx
