Has anyone figured out how to change the mouse pointer from the standard arrow. I cannot locate a cursors directory in windows, nor can i locate registry entries in HKCU or HKLM for mouse or cursor. There isn't a lot to google on the subject unless i just picked wrong keywords - entirely possible smile.gif. I would just rather have something other than a white arrow (a red circle or something), which I often lose on the screen.

I'm assuming that somewhere in the WM structure there is a way of changing.hacking this.

Any ideas any one who has poked around WM in general.

I second that. A small circle like you suggest would be good so you can hide it off-screen in some corner until you need it. I guess form the 100-views but no response to this thread no one has any ideas but thought I would bump it back up just in case!

Yes if you use
hklm/system/state/samsung/mouse
as stated then change the DWORD Data to a value between 0 and 24 this will chnage the mouse cursor, I tried it myself and it does work. Also, here is a list of what the cursor changes to:

0 Standard White Arrow

1 Orange V-Shape Arrow

2 Blue V-Shape Arrow

3 Green V-Shape Arrow

4 Wand with Star on the End

5 Pencil

6 Crayon

7 Paper Plane

8 Seaside Windmill

9 Little Man With Stick (actually it looks like a Nun)

10 Heart

11 Bird

12 Flower

13 Four-Leaf Clover

14 Butterfly

15 Cloud

16 Football

17 Bomb

18 Candy Lollypop

19 Ice Cream

20 Santa Hat

21 Snowman

22 Paw Print

23 Man Square Head

24 Strange Head with Purple Hair

I hope this helps, I'll try and get some screen shots.

Great information guys!

Is there anyway to change the default time the mouse cursor stays on the screen?

When I was using 'official' rom it used to go off after a couple of seconds inactivity but with cooked rom it stays on all the time. Quite annoying when using gps software.

Thanks in advance
