Hi, i am new to this phone and need some help with music transfers, wheneva i transfer music from my Laptp to my Omnia, the files are going straight to my Media Player on the Phone (which is taking up ALOT of memory) instead of the 8gb Drive.. I can update the phone so that they are found in my 8gb but I also have to keep them saved in my Media Player aswell or they dont work in my Touch Player..!! HELP PLEASE...... mad.gif mad.gif mad.gif

when you have got your music onto my storage open touch player and search for new files, it should find them for you

Hi Caitlyn, How are you transfering the music? Are you letting Windows Media player sync? If so I think you need to select the storage card down the bottom right of the sync page (rather than your device). it takes a very long time with WMP!! I tend to use Media Monkey, which is really good for managing the tags and album art. Either way should be able to select the My Storage as the sync option. If you dont add music to your library often, you can just connect in USB mass storage mode and copy and paste all your music - this is much quicker to establish your music collection.

Oh, the TouchPlayer doesn't seem to like inconsistent tagging within albums. If you find that Touch player crashes when adding tracks the library (or just stop adding tracks without completing) then you probably have some inconsistencies in the tags (genre, year or album art). It took me ages to iron out all my tags to get Touch Player to work properly.

Anyway, lots of options for you!
