As we know, HH1 PDA and HH3 radio seems to be a troublesome combination for some with regards to battery life.

If this includes you, you might like to try the DXHH1 ROM with this XXHH1 radio, which you need to flash (with utmost care as usual of course!) via GrandPrix.

I have just successfully flashed it to my device.

The file can be found here: http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?q7vikkxlxnm

I'm basically interested to see if the battery drain is due to a version mismatch... you would hope DXHH1/XXHH1 would happily co-exist biggrin.gif

I'll post my findings here, please do the same!

I dont see the fasination of this HH1 radio! Im on HG5 (orange standard issue) and battery lasts an age, even when i was in no signal, my phone was bouncing between 1 bar and 0 for 2 days and it only used the 40% of the battery.
Admitently i could only send the odd text here and there as of signal issues

I left HG5 as it was teriible to the point of orange replacing my first handset after 7 days as they thought it was a fault..

At the moment I'm on H1 PDA and G4. I will wait and see what users think H1 phone is like in regards to the battery.

Edit: OK I decided to give it a go smile.gif Flashing it now....

Well, as I've posted in another thread I was having problems with my battery with H1/H3. I then soft reset and it seemed to help quite a bit. Since then I've reflashed with H1/H1 and it seems to be fibe now. I unplugged it this morning at about 8 so had full battery. I've done at least an hours driving with satnav working on phone plus the odd msg and as I type I'm still on 60%
I only reflashed yesterday though so I'll have to see how it goes

Cheers
