Device(s): Omnia!

I can't for the life of me get vista to sync with my omnia. It syncs fine with XP but not vista. The phone recognises that it's connected and even says it's charging, but it doesn't come up in the sync center or in the WM device center. What am I doing wrong?

Perhaps what would help me is if you explained how I "SHOULD" have gone about things because I'm sure I haven't done it correctly (otherwise it would be working).

Thanks

ps. I did google it and I found some vague references but nothing solid, probably because the omnia is still quite new. I did find others with problems though!

Didn't understand your post, but I have finally got it to work. I went into Settings->Connections->USB to PC and unchecked the "Enable advanced network functionality". Now it works!
