Is it possible to use the Samsung Omnia as a modem on a computer? If so is there any programs that I need?

Cheers
Robert

Look on your mobile device at Programs > Internet Sharing smile.gif
Just connect your device and PC via USB or Bluetooth, select "Connect" in "Internet Sharing" and there you go.

I can't check right now, but would this solve the problem of connecting to a TomTom Go to access the internet based TMC service? Hope so.

Hmmm. No it doesn't. TomTom Go connects as a hands free but says "you phone does not appear capable of a wireless internet connection"
Back to the drawing board.

Sorry for being an idiot. To use my phone as a modem I use internet sharing on my PC or my phone? I can not find where to share the internet on my Omnia. This would be really useful as I am moving house soon and will need the internet.

Thanks

Connect Omnia to PC and then Menu -> Programs -> then scroll to Internet Sharing. Click connect and voila internet should work on your computer...
