Is it safe? It will upgrade the rom, so if a new official rom is out, what will we do? Will it be able to replace the unofficial crack app rom, with the official ?

I don't know how to answer any of your questions other than to tell you it works and works well. I wouldn't worry myself about upgrading in the future...but I'm not making any promises.

They already stopped manufacturing it and switched to 8390.

Oh really? - that seems exceptionally short lived, even for a mobile phone.

Admitedly the SP2003/better camera 8390 does look MUCH better though...

The phone is not out yet. Besides....anything you but is outdated as soon as you walk out of the store. That's why I'm on my 5th phone model this year! Buy the 8390 and you'll se something better within a month, I promise you. And so on...and so on...and so on...
