I'm looking for an emergency charger for my A701 for when I'm out and about walking. I've seen them for other phones. You just pop in 1-4 AA batteries, plug it in and it charges your phone.

Seems like a great idea to me. I have loads of 2500mAh AA batteries at home which would keep my phone going for ages on a nice long walk if only I could find a decent emergency charger.

I got one off eBay but it was crap quality and broke far too easily. Did the job for a couple of days though.

My first port-of-call would be Add-Ons World but you might need to email them to check compatibility.
