Help me with my XML plz! (Screen shots & XML included), trying to be as detailed as possible

First off thanks for the click! I've been struggling for days with this problem. I have provided serious thought and images to help me and you

I have already searched the forum, searched the internet, read the tuts and played with every single homescreen designer. This is my last resort guys.
Okay hopefully this is the easiest way of putting things.

Here is my current HS, exactly how it looks on my phone right this minute of the world.

Now here's what I don't like about it:

1. Problem: There is no GMAIL/POP email counter on it.
Question: How do I get the gmail counter to show up (even if I have 0 gmails) and be the exact same size/alignment as my "profile; allday etc." plugins
Help/Explanation: this is the exact gmail plugin code if you please want to modify it for me to be the same format (size/position/green highlight) as my "profile; allday and Missed calls plugins.

2. Problem: The "Text Message and Voicemail" plugins are waaay bigger than my other plugins, and are not aligned the same.
Question: How do I get the Text and Vmail plugins to be formatted the exact same as my "Profile; Allday, and Missed Call" plugins?
Question Explanation: I want them to be as small as my Profile etc. and with the same green highlight and aligned to the left etc.

Here is exactly what I want my Homescreen to look like:

(photoshoped and made the changes I want TEAL so you can notice its fake, but thats how I want my HS to look)

So please if some body could give me step-by-step instructions, or point me to a SPECIFIC thread, or just modify my XML for me *recommended

* I would greatly appreciate it.

Hi T1tan, I've done the xml file for you, a bit of a rush as am painting the house before it rains. You can change the colours if you wish. I hope it's something like that which you are looking for. Best Regards..looby

ah hey looby, thanks a lot for the work you did for me lol. I'm flattered haha.

but the SMS EMAIL and Vmail plugin are all the same

I 3 different plugins for SMS Gmail and Vmail so if they get selected they take you straight to SMS Gmail or Vmail

but thanks for the attempt man. If you lived near me I would help you paint!

That's the way it works in WM 6.0 which ever way you do it. You can have the individual notifications on the homescreen but the selection will take you to messaging in general. I agree it would be nice to have an individual selection

i need a lil help too, didnt want to start a new thread.
im trying to mod the HTC homescreen to have the recent app list instead of the appointments. i dont know much about editing the xml files, but this is what i have tryed, along with a few similar

i had put the one line i edited in quotes here, i had took a stab. the original clsid name was calender, and the line i replaced it with was from samsungs simple home. this bit i edited was just the clsid and name i changed in the htc.home.xml. it wont even show up as a home screen.

any help would be great
