 spv c550 screen colors scattering, spv c550 screen problem

my son was playing game on spv c550. when i saw it had changed the screen. now the screen displays scattred colours rest all functions are ok. i have viewed the phone through active sync remote display on my desktop and it appears fine there.
can anyone pls help me

Do you have a picture of the screen? did your son hit or throw the phone causing damage to the screen?

Sounds like physical damage. First try pulling the battery and restarting, then try a hard reset, then you're out of options! blink.gif

thanks guys for responding. i dont have an image of the screen right now. but i have experimented something. like when viweinf pictures the outlines and contours are all perfect but some colors scatter more than the others. for instance black would be greenish and when i change contrast, gamma settings it is reduced to larger extent. someone told me it could be error with some registry values. can u pls provide links on how to verify or corrcet it

One way to prove if it is a hardware or software issue would be to do a hard reset. This restores to phone back to its factory settings.
Remember to backup your contacts etc before resetting and you will need to reinstall your applications/games afterwards.
