Those with Compact IVs dont have You Tube app nor Live Messenger. Does anyone know where we can find CABs for these.
Have tried XDA developers - nothing there.

I wonderered the same, but the T-Mo Streaming Media program seems to achieve the same thing if you browse to http://m.youtube.com

My heads spinning with all the stuff i've read regards flashing the rom........

different versions of hardSPL, different roms!!!

All i want to do is have a copy of the T-mobile rom should the worst happen and it needs to be returned, i want to change the current rom for the original rom, but again theres different versions of that!

If i post the details of my rom, radio etc perhaps someone who is more au-fait can point me in the right direction.

rom version: 1.37.110.3 WWE
rom date: 06/20/08
radio version: 1.00.25.03

sorry for the thread hi-jack but i too would like to have the youtube app and msn on my phone but T-mobile in their wisdom seem to think they know best...........plus i bl**dy hate pink!

Yes....I am in the same position. If there is a T-mobile ROM I can flash back to if I need to...then I am happy to try other ROMS.

In the meantime, I would just settle for a CAB file for the YouTube and MSN applications. I think I can find MSN, but I am not sure about YouTube.

Okay so I found YouTube. You can download and install it with the cab file found at
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread...5338&page=3

EDIT: Scratch that.....it doesn't work properly...looks like the author tried to get it to rescale for other phones.

Finally, successful install of YouTube and Live Messenger can be found here

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=408650

Also a theme is available to get the HTC rather than T-mobile colours is in this thread.
