Hi all, anyone know how to set up the M1000 as a modem using Windows 2000 laptop, ive tried most things. The connection begins, i get to the usner name and password stage and then fails, saying 'remote access error 734'. Ive also checked the error 734 - The PPP link control protocol terminated.

This error can occur if the Security tab in Windows NT dial-up networking Modem Properties is set to send encrypted passwords and your ISP does not support encrypted passwords. In this case, the option to accept any authentication, including clear text, must be selected.

All the above checked still no joy. Always fails on the Verifying user name and password. same error message.

Can anyone sugest anythin else i can try.
