I have purchased a sim-free I-Mate jam which works fantastically except I cannot get it to open up non-WAP links using Pocket IE nor pick-up emails (my settings are correct). Looking at the connections the I-mAte jam only comes with GPRS (MMS) and GPRS WAP - both function ok with MMS and with opening wap pages. Downloaded settings from the I-mate website only installs the 2.

My guess is that I need a generic Voda GPRS connection to access both web-pages and POP accounts. Does anybody have these settings available?

All you should need is the APN, the username and password

Vodafone uk use and APN of 'internet'
Username and password are both 'web', but then they are not strictly needed.

go to start, settings, connections, connections, add a modem connection.

select cellular line (GPRS) - hit next

enter internet (yes, all in lower case)
hit next/finish

all done, now set up

alternatively, you culd search for this, cos i seriously doubt that this hasn't been covered before!
