Is this possible?
I would like to be able to sync my text messages to my outlook inbox (or other folder) isn't there anything that will do that? Pigo -------------------- Blackness....

Are there any others? I'm not too keen on the Jeyo app; I've got the trial now but it sees every text message as a new one. Every morning in work I have to mark all of last nights messages as read, even though the phone knows they have been read and replied to.

Mine doesn't. I connect via activesync and it syncs my sms folders just like my mail folders.

Oh, the sync is fine, it's just that all messages appear as unread when the first go into Outlook.

Have you gone into the options menu and set it up properly?

I checked the options and didn't see anything along those lines. Just to confirm, when you get home and ActiveSync, any new but read mails you now have in the inbox show up in outlook as read, and only genuinely unread ones show as being new?

Check the great free utility SMSDiary http://kny.iki.fi/smsdiary/
Automatically puts all new SMS into your Outlook which then syncs to PC Simon |

Hi all,
Just downloaded the trial of Jeyo, and I'm having a couple of problems. First, whenever I try and open a text in Outlook, I get a warning message that a program is trying to access my email addresses, saying if it's unexpected to say "no", as it could be a virus! Second, if I get through that, and assume it is normal activity for the program, when I open the text, the body is blank, and I cannot view the text - think it's something to do with it storing the message in the subject field, rather than the body of the message. Any ideas on these most welcome. Thanks, Pete. -------------------- Pete

The first bit is normal. Viruses used to have free & open access to your contact list in Outlook, and would use it to spam everyone and spread the virus. They added a permission check and a warning just to confuse everyone!
As for the messages themselves; I get the text in the body as normal in the preview pane. When I double click on the message, it opens in a new window, a "SMS Message" dialog that looks to be a part of Jeyo itself. The text is also in the body area here. |

Bizarre. I don't get it in the body in the preview pane or when I open it. Ah well, good job it was only a trial and I can un-install!
Thanks for the reply. |
