I was finding life with my Atom Life to be trouble free following a replacement handset from Expansys - then I noticed something else!
Just by pure chance, I decided to check my voicemail (no notifications on device) and sure enough, I had three voicemail messages - none of which I had been alerted to by my device. I checked again, called my phone, left a message and....nothing, no notifications. I have found that there are many Atom Life users out there with this problem and there is a fix out there - albeit for Orange users. I'm on T-Mobile - any T-Mob users manage to solve this problem? Expansys seem to be washing their hands of this issue at the moment so this is quite frustrating! -------------------- "..busier than a one legged man in a butt kicking contest...."

What is the fix for Orange users incidentally? Does it not work the same way?

What is the fix for Orange users incidentally? Does it not work the same way? P The fix involves installing a .cab file (made by Rabdo on SPV Developers) which replaces the sms_providers.dll file on the device. I have tried the Orange but it doesn't fix the problem for other networks (problems with Voicemail and the Atom Life have also been reported on Virgin, O2 etc). -------------------- "..busier than a one legged man in a butt kicking contest...."

Well the fix doesn't work, Expansys seem uninterested, so the last resort is MWg support! -------------------- "..busier than a one legged man in a butt kicking contest...."

Well, MWg were quite quick replying to my query. They have suggested installing the latest ROM from their website. All well and good. Erm...not quite!
The latest ROM on the MWg website is actually an older ROM than the one that currently ships with the MWg Atom...so in effect they would like me to 'downgrade' to the 'latest' ROM. Haven't tried it yet. The thing that is worrying me is that newer ROMs are usually released to fix bugs/issues with earlier versions. If I were to downgrade to the earlier ROM as MWg are suggesting, I dread to think what bugs that are currently fixed I would be reverting to. And on another note - if that's the latest ROM MWg have for the Atom Life, where on earth did Expansys get their ROM from??? -------------------- "..busier than a one legged man in a butt kicking contest...."
