 Change SMS/Email Background Color?, White to Black

Device(s): T-Mobile Shadow
I am trying to find out if there is a way to change the background color of SMS messages from white with black text to black with white text. The attached picture is along the lines of what I am wanting.

Device: T-mobile Shadow with WM6
