Hi all.

I have a Asus 701 EEEPC 4G, running Linux. I am pondering a T-Mobile USB Broadband stick to replace my Virgin Media Cable Broadband for general site viewing, email and occasional You Tube watching. T-Mobile are happy to advise that it works on Windows and Mac, but seem to go very quiet when I mention Linux.

Has anyone been able to Surf using their Linux eeepc and a USB Mobile Broadband stick?

What do I need to do to get it working, if possible.... or will I have to dump Linux and use XP?

Cheers.

Glyn.

Check what model the the usb stick is. I think the soap bar E220 Huawei one is the most popular. Then check google. When I was looking for Mac drivers for the E169 there were loads of sites talking about linux drivers for the E220.
