 Back Heat, how to solve it?, After Upgrade to DXHI2

Hi, Guys

After upgraded to DXHI2 my Omnia being so "blue" mad.gif , always have Back Heat.

My batery only for a day with small activities.

How can it be like this?

Should i upgrade to DXHI3? or to DXHI1?

it happen only to certain people, not all actually... till now no one found the cause yet but since you're able to make rom upgrade yourself, why not try HI3, at least this rom is with very less complain at the moment.

Thanks, i will try to upgrade it to DXHI3 then
I still currious what is the cuases actually

but if I'm not wrong, my omnia start having Back heat when it be connected to usb doing activesync with PC

then it always get easy have back heat and kill my battery life.... mellow.gif

ya, besides that, connecting to gps also generate lots of heat... especially when i was with HH3 rom

I'm using G4 rom and using GPS also generates lots of heat...can hang the phone halfway thru my journey...if you don't realised it, you ended up missing exits and turns.

Heat is a generic issue with devices that have internal GPS and WiFi etc, it is not Omnia specific. I have seen exactly the same issue on other devices. The HTC Universal also used to heat up nicely when using WiFi.

for some reason i thougth the heat was from the memory card personally cause that is the area that mine gets really warm

I admitted that wifi and gps phone get easily to be heat, but in this case I was just flashing to DXHI2 and i didnt use any wifi and gps yet. only install some applications.

Did Spb shell will get crash with the Rom DXHI2?

I have noticed the same issue with my Omnia, am running rom version DXHG4, and it only heats up when I am using the GPS, however my friends Touch Diamond also does exactly the same thing so am pretty sure it's not just an Omnia/Samsung issue

I mean that I was not using wifi or GPS, but it get Back Heat. so? anyone there could give another comments?
