The smart2go WCities guide is a city guide and GPS Navigation system rolled in to one easy to use piece of software. The main selling point is that you can simply insert a memory card, attach a GPS Reciever and your ready to go!
The developer gate5 AG say that this software is not only apporopriate for automotive but also cycling and travelling on foot. Check out Pocket Land for more information and to buy this excellent piece of software for just €14,99 (£10.64) QUOTE Features:
- Easy to install - Voice driven navigation in 5 different languages - 2D and 3D map views with zoom function and additional mode for night usage - Automatic route recalculation when detouring from given path - Select goal desination by tapping on the map - Goal destination from a favourites list - Goal destination selection directly from the city guide - Goal destination selection from manual address search - Information about restaurants, hotels, attractions, night life, bars, events, shopping, and much more - Dozens of points of interest (POI) - Send SMS messages with POI information - Call restaurants and other locations directly from the city guide -------------------- Thanks,

QUOTE(pbird49 @ Dec 19 2005, 23:30) It is cheaper because it is only sold for individual cities and not the whole country. So if you then decided to buy all the available cities t5he cost would then add up. -------------------- 3 mobile where the words "customer" and "service" only exists in the dictionary

QUOTE(pbird49 @ Dec 20 2005, 00:30) looks like a good piece of kit. how can it be being sold for only £10 when TomTom and the like sell for hundreds? anyone using this? what's it like? Thats exactly it - the cost is so low because you purchase the program on a city by city basis. But the functionality is all there - it works just like other navi programs as far as routing is concerned. The functionality and quality is easily comparable to Tom Tom. It also says WM2003 - does it work on WM5?
