Hi,

I just want to share a simple solution I used to flash from DXHG4 to DZHH3.

I used the official Samsung rom and it issued this error when verifying version and wouldn't proceed. I looked into the Rom using hex editor and apprently it was looking for DX rom on the phone. I discovered that where the phone's registry holds the phone rom into it stated DXHG4.

So I fugured that the updater was looking to see if the rom country version in the new rom and the phone were the same.

So, I changed the phone's rome version vis registry editor to DZHG4, and the Samsung updater was fooled and the update proceeded normally. I changed to more recent roms later and these all had DX so didn't have the same issue.

For those who have non DX roms, try this method and see if this works.

the registry setting was at

current user>ControlPanel>Version
Go to the top of the page
