 Windows Media 10 Mod, Anyone up for a challenge?

I am wondering if there is anyone out their who knows how to map the buttons on the HP Bluetooth Headset so that they operate WMP10 controls?
It works on WMP9, and I have no idea where to even start looking for this.
Is there anyone out there who can help me with this? Any hints on how to do it myself would also be much appreciated.
