wink.gif Hi All,

I would like an external keyboard connected to my device for writing text messages, e-mails or even using Mobile Word. Does anyone know where I can get a good, value for money and compactable, 63 full size key bluetooth keyboard?

play.com have the iGo Ultra Slim for £17.99 (free delivery)

I have one on order for my N800, I can test it on my Kaiser when it arrives.

Thinking about it - does the Kaiser support external keyboards?

Looks very similar to the BT keyboard I bought for my C500 years ago - never used it but found it the other day and tried it with my Ameo - worked fine so no reason it shouldn't with a kaiser.

Expansys sell them...

If you got a £10 off voucher from Modaco you could be looking at a good deal.

Well - they want 29.95 + 3.45 delivery. Even with the £10 discount - play.com is slightly better!

It does say it works on 02 XDA (which is obviously not the same but similer). I'll wait for you to let me know if it works, please!

Thanks mate.

i don't think theres any realreason why it shouldn't work on the kaiser. as far as i know, the drivers for bluetooth keyboards are the same across windows mobile devices. as long as the kaiser supports the Bluetooth HID profile (assuming this is whjat the keyboard uses),l then you should be okay, as its a generic profile.

I always fancied one of these http://www.amazon.co.uk/Celluon-CL800BT-Bl...d/dp/B000ESNE8S but the price never seems to have dropped and I'm not sure they'd work with a WinMo device so I've never bothered.

I have an iGo Stowaway bluetooth keyboard which I use with my HTC Touch Dual. It worked fine on my Loox 720 but gave me many problems with the Touch Dual until I worked out the following sequence:
Put Keyboard into ABC mode, not XT9
Ensure "Keyboard" is selected as on screen input method AND is present on the bottom of the screen.

If I don't do this, I end up with all sorts of weird characters and auto-corrections! Does this happen on the Vario III?
