I'm now on my second BlackJack II phone, with both I've had the same two problems (the first being a GPS issue you can look at here ) the second being that that majority of programs I have installed (including Pauls GPSID settings plugin) all prompt me that they have been "designed for a previous version and may not display properly"... well the majority of them DON"T display properly, even thought they are made for "WM6"...
Anyone else having the same issue(s)?? |

Its just a warning that the developer hasnt marked the application as "WM6"-compatible, the most of them because they were made before WM 6. But nearly all of them will still work on your device -------------------- Dumdidum - Moderator of www.mobiledevices.ch - best german website for smartphone and pocketpc!

HI You can ignore that. Its just a warning that the developer hasnt marked the application as "WM6"-compatible, the most of them because they were made before WM 6. But nearly all of them will still work on your device sorry, but most of them do not work... of the 12 i've already installed that prompt that warning only about 4 display in a manner which is usable, most do not display at all and a few have even effect the display of the start menu/screen (callblocker, smart block). On another note when I installed Pauls GPSID plugin on my first phone it did not display properly either (none of the "titles" appeared, just the selecion boxes). On my second phone it will display but it is "off" and looks a bit odd. But at least you can read the box titles. I'm wondering if my ATT store didn't just get a bad batch, this second phone was recieved by them on the same date and from the same "batch" (looking at the information on the factory scu tag) |

Are you sure you're running the Smartphone version of the software? If you're running the PPC version, it expects a touchscreen and other junk.
