 BIOS AHCI setting

Hi,

Reading through some stuff, I noticed that a lot of people talk about enabling AHCI support in the BIOS. Did some background and it seems that this may cause an issue if dual booting with XP, but for best performance under OS X is it best to enable? I read a bit that in single user desktop mode it may not actually give any performance benefit, and may be worse...

Thought, people? Anyone here running with this enabled?
