Hello,

I'm new to the smartphone scene. After downloading the NoData CAB file (containg 3 files) i do not know what to do with it. Opnening the _setup.xml on both my PC or my phone opens the explorer without result.

Suggestions?
Rene

Hi,

You don't open the .cab file, just copy it to your device, then browse to it with the File Explorer and click on it to execute

Click the second link in my sig more more help if you need it smile.gif

It works with WM6 - the error you are getting sugests you don't have any data connection set up for it t control!

Error handling isn't it's forte as a quickly knocked up app.

Incidentally, i'm revisiting it today to add Smartphone support (finally!)

I downloaded nodata for my htc diamond.
I made a new map on the mobile in de Temp directory.
There is a setup present, but the opera logo is in front of the setup

When i doubleclick the setup, opera opens and nothing is happening...
What am i doing wrong. In the Temp file is a map called NoData
In that map are
_setup
00nodata
00nodata
00nodata
0cab1e10
0cab1e11
intheh~1

clicking on setup opens the internet (opera) with in the url;
file:/Intern%20geheugen/temp/NoData/_setup.xml

what am i doing wrong?

Do NOT unpack on your PC first, just copy nodata.cab to your phone and double click on it.

You can copy it anywhere on the device, so long as you can find it in file explorer on the device afterwards, then click on it and it will install.
