Hi All,

It's happened a couple of times now in the 2 weeks I've had the phone: I tried to use it and I found the screen black; no matter what I tried it wouldn't come back on (eg trying to press the unlock combination, holding down the power button to turn it on/off, etc). The only thing that made it recover is to take the battery out and put it back on.

Also, today I've just had another type of "crash": the homescreen and start menu was responding but I couldn't launch any applications. Performing a power cycle resolved that.

Given that I've almost never had crashes with previous WM2003/WM5 smartphones I am a bit alarmed that I've already had 3 in 2 week's time with the i600. Have other people had similar problems (which would indicate a firmware issue) or could this be potentialy a problem with my device?

Cheers
Kostas

Mine's been rock solid so far

3rd party apps are probably the cause, but we could compare ROMs (go to Start, Settings, More, More, About):
OS 5.1.525 (Build 15362.3.4.2)
Radio ver i600DXGC2
RIL 2.002
Operator, Manufacturer, MS, Language, File system: 5.1.525.15362

I have a few apps installed:
Papyrus
Facade
CodeWallet Pro 6
Palringo
Resco Explorer 2005
RJ Time
SK TSync
A few homescreens and Reg tweaks
