Hello,
I'm a former Moto Q user who just switched to the Blackjack II. I love everything about the phone. However, there's a problem with Pocket Nester Plus 0.9 that didn't crop up on the old model Q. I'm playing any action game like Super Mario Bros. or Megaman III. For some reason, I can't hit more than two buttons at once. For example: I can't run and jump to the right (holding right, a and B ) in Super Mario Bros. I can't charge my weapon and jump to the right (holding right, a and B ) in Megaman III. I'm sure other favorites like Contra and Bubble Bobble have this problem as well. Here's my control setup: Left, right, up, down. (set to their respective places on the front wheel). B: O A: P Select: L Start: K This is the setup my old Q had, and I loved it. Is there a different control I need to try, or a hack I need to do to the BJ, or am I just stuck playing Tetris and Zelda from this point on? Any help would be appreciated. My guess would be that the keyboard simply can't handle more than 2 inputs at once. You can run and jump in Mario if you're quick enough, though. However, some games are more negatively affected.
I have the same phone and this annoys me too, but I doubt you can do anything about it. At least it's better than my old RAZR, one button at a time... |

I find it too difficult to play any sort of action game because it's just too hard to use the direction pad (or alphnumeric keys) to control motion smoothly. No problems with that? I gave up trying to play ninja gaiden and bionic commando b/c of that. Still, playing Mike Tyson's Punch Out, Legend of Zelda, and Pro Wrestling on your BJ2 is just awesome. |
