I am a blackjack user that got the phone with windows mobile 6.0 on it. In the news, Microsoft said that one of the first phones that will be worked to handle the update would be the Blackjack II. I think AT&T is selling blackjack's with Windows Mobile 6.1 on it right now, but I am not positive. Is there anything I have to do to update the Blackjack I have right now to Windows Mobile 6.1? If it isnt out for Blackjack II yet, then when will it be out? They announced it at the beginning of April!
When I do eventually update, will it hard reset my phone? Thanks. |

From the press release on MS's Windows Mobile site
http://www.microsoft.com/presspass/press/2...4-01WM61PR.mspx The update will be available to mobile phone partners in the third quarter of 2008, with the first Windows Mobile phones using the new version expected to be available by the end of 2008. Take into consideration that users will have to wait additional time for each partner to put together their own rom and you're looking at the end of the year.
