Hi Guys,
The left soft key on my i780 currently says "phone" and pushing it opens the phone function. This is a bit redundant, as pushing the green button also opens the phone function. I tried looking through the setup menu's to change it, but I've so far been unsuccessful. I would like it to open the programs screen (as a shortcut to going Start > Programs). Would anyone be able to tell me how to change it in the menu, or recommend a Registry changer - and a couple of step by step instructions? I'd really appreciate it!! |

You can use the SoftKeyApplet application to change the left and right softkeys. Take a look here: http://www.modaco.com/content/htc-prophet-...onna-love-this/
NOTE: You only need the SoftKeyApplet.exe file and you need to rename it to SoftKeyApplet.cpl and put it in the Windows directory on the device and it will show up in the Settings menu under the System tab. |
