Hello, just wondering if there's anyway to keep the indicator light blinking when you receive a new text message and you haven't checked it.

I know once you receive the text, you get a purple-ish light, but it quickly goes away.

Anyone know how to keep it there till you check the text message?

Thank you! smile.gif

There might be a free hack to do this, but if you're willing to part with $12.95, LEDAlerts is the product you're looking for.

I installed Phone Alarm as part of skinning the BJ2 with the myphone skin (requires facade and phone alarm) to look and feel like an iphone.

In the phone alarm options you can choose LED light notifications for calls, sms, emails.

If you're looking to invest a few dollars you may wish to choose this route instead as part of your customisation - see the myphone screens in that other thread on what's on your screen.

There's a lot of features and customisation possibilities in phone alarm - just depends on whether you have the time, inclination and a few euros (think it's 12 but there is a free trial)

I downloaded the trial of LED Indicator and ya it doesn't do what i wanted it to do.

Maybe i didn't clearly specify what i wanted.

I would like the LED light to come on for a missed call or text message, and blink constantly to tell me i have a text message or missed call. It would blink up until i checked my text message or call....

anyone?

This is exactly what LEDAlerts does. Set a specific LED color to an event (SMS, MMS, Email, missed call, VM, calendar event).
The LED will continuously blink until you check that event.
For examplre, if you get a missed call (and you have missed call set to red LED) the LED will blink red until you check it.
Same for text message. The corresponding LED color you set for a text will blink until you read the text.
Actually, multiple LEDs will blink (e.g. if you have a misssed call and Voicemail).

A wonderful program.

You're absolutely right.

I had my phone plugged in to recharge, so the LED alert doesn't override the RED light.

Thank you!!!!

PhoneAlarm's LED notification is working properly for your BJ II? I was planning to try it until I read all the complaints about it not working on their forum.

I was looking for this exact same feature and only found the LEDAlerts software. Could someone copy the registry settings from the software so I can see if it will work without it? I have no problem buying the software, but if it can be done by adding a few registry values I think it would be a great addition to the tips.

I think it should be under HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Control Panel/Notifications/Led
