That was a painless upgrade.
Can this phone connect to wifi or a wireless router? I have it connected to the internet now thru a usb cable. |

No. As has been discussed, the Blackjack II does not have WiFi and is unable to connect to the internet through WiFi networks.
You may use wired connections through your PC, Bluetooth, or your cellular carrier via 3G, EDGE, or GPRS. |

Microsoft website is a bit misleading.
Windows Mobile 6.1 phones are here
Mobile operators are shipping great new phones with Windows Mobile 6.1 already installed. In order to connect over bluetooth, simply connect to your desktop over activesync, and ensure your desktop's activesync's configurations are set to connect to "The Internet".
Also note that sometimes you have to manually ensure your device cannot connect over its GPRS connections. |

This could be a good option.
A microSD wifi card that support windows mobile. This would be a cool option except for having to swap this out for a memory cards. |

that's not misleading at all there are tons of phones that run WM that have wifi so the new update makes it easier to setup on those phones. Just cause our's don't support it doesn't make it misleading |
