Any suggestions on which Picture/Image viewers are worth trying ?
(freeware only pls tongue.gif )

* Have tried the default picture viewer that came with the phone (HTC s710, Windows mobile) and XnView.

* Both really don't seem good enough, though XnView is much better.

* The Album viewer on WM2003 was a charm, and is not working on my phone (based on http://www.modaco.com/content-page/239595/...0-8310/page/20/ )

* Have searched a fair bit for a good freeware viewer, but to no avail.

A good image viewer, in my opnion, should have the following:
  • Maximum number of options working from the keys directly, without opening the menu etc.
  • Quick loading of thumbnails
  • Quick loading of pictures (XnView seems rather slow on this count)
  • Fullscreen view (with auto rotate)
  • Easy Zoom (preferably keypad) to atleast the following : Fullscreen/Fit to screen, 100%, Zoom in, Zoom out
  • Easy Pan, preferably with the navigation keys (is a LOT more intutive than the XnViews 2,4,6,8)
  • Keypad based rotate.
  • Slideshow with the option of moving ahead or back, without stopping it. Also the option of pausing at an image, if needed.
  • Option to send the picture (already asking too much for a freeware, I think)
Other desirable features would include:
  • Copy, Move, Delete etc. preferably with multiple and non-contigious selection.
  • Picture properties, preferably with exif (XnView seems brilliant at this)
  • Sort by Name,Date, etc.
  • Shortcut assignment to keys.
Seems too much for a freeware, but using UCWEB as a browser, has raised my expectations of freeware. Even supercedes OperaMini on most counts for me personally.

Looking forward to what the others are happy with.

Hey no replies at all! ohmy.gif

People surely are using image viewers besides the default on in WM6.

Mods, in case this should have been posted in some other forum section? Please move it suitably, if needed.

Thanks
